Alright, one question though, why combo knives and a scrambler pistol? I mean, the way I see it, I'd use the pistol and the knives f+¦r basically the same thing: sneaking up behind people, gutting/shooting them in the back at really close range.

Im not saying that it's uncool or anything, just that eventually one weapon will probably become redundant because I won't see a reason to pull the other weapon out.

I use my pistol when my knife target is out of range as a rule I never chase a target down for a knife kill I use my knives as a situational weapon when I have the flank and my enemy is unaware I knife when I'm spotted I use my pistol. Plus it makes you feel like an assassin Blink

So I figured, why not go for something challenging? Im thinking of either going for playing around more with the Plasma Cannon and develop... Erm "mad skillz" with it to the point where I slaughter any opposition (you know, sort of what I do now in a tank or as a Logi or as a Heavy). OR getting into AV:ing, proving to all the moaning, spoiled little brats here that tanks CAN be blown up with some wit and sensible investment in skills. So I'll let the Dust community decide, what should I go for? Or can you come up with another "hard mode"-challenge for me? C'mon now, gimme a tall and treacherous mountain to climb! I'll report my decision and progress as I go along for anyone interested in my progression and opinions.

First two matches went **** and I didn't manage to kill anyone with the knives. I quickly realized that you need at least ADV to pose any kind of threat because you're only going to get two-three slashes in before your victim realizes whats happening, and the low damage on basic knives just won't help. Third match went better though. Kdr 6/7 and 660 wp. My fit right now is a minmatar light basic suit with 1 enhanced sidearm damage modifier, 1 scrambler pistol, 1 adv nova knives, 1 enhanced kinetic catalyzer, 1 basic codebreaker and locus grenade BPO. Let's try a few more and see what happens. Stay tuned! :)

Plus it makes you feel like an assassin Hehe, then you've played more tactically than me. I switched over from a pistol to an SMG, but I noticed I rarely use any firearms. Im just doing it like a psycho running after people and slashing at them. Still, it's pretty hard. But im almost breaking even in kdr at least (most matches have ended with 1-2 more deaths than kills) Would be fun running a ninja squad! Knives for everyone!
